21 Jan Introducing… You!
“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)
“Who am I supposed to be?” The beginning of a new year forces many people to confront this question. It is a deep desire of man to find the answer for himself, and in this period, you may be asking yourself the same question.
The Bible says that when a man comes into Christ, the veil is removed and we see the glory of God and gain the correct image of who we are. The Bible is full of encounters that changed the trajectory of people’s lives. In the book of Matthew, a man called Simon had a life altering conversation with Jesus. That crucial conversation helped Peter to close a mental gap of who he was. An encounter with the Holy Spirit in your life will help you reconcile destiny and bring a change of identity and image. This year, you need to allow God to reconcile you, especially with how you see yourself.
Confession: I position myself to encounter Christ and gain the true image of who I am.
